Here is one of the few videos that can be shown publicly due to graphic content. This video was from the morning after the alleged rape. You can see Kevin go to the car and Melissa casually walking out and wait for the door to be unlocked.
If I was brutally raped a few minutes before, every fiber of my being would scream “I need to run at the earliest opportunity". Melissa must be thinking "I guess I could run, but then again a ride would be nice, Hey Kevin can you please give me a ride to my car?" Melissa's infidelity and walk of shame caught on tape.

Melissa also has more of a deceitful past then the USOBSERVER reported on. She was charge with 4 counts of Forgery Case #96-8-00036-7 in Mason County, Washington. I am glad that this story is getting out in the public it needs to be told...
And that is one of the main purposes of this site, to get the stories out there that our local media doesn't want to talk about.

This girl belongs in jail. She is the reason women do not feel safe to come forward with true charges. Maybe if the police, DA etc. procecuted the false accusers as harshly as they punish the accused it would weed out all the liars. Thank you for posting Kevin's story and the video. I look forward to the day that the rest of the videos can get out there. Kevin is a great person, and it kills me to see the life he has worked so hard for ripped away from him by a ridiculous lie.
The problem with rape cases is they are behind closed door cases. These cases start off with the scales tipped in the victims defense.
I feel that after the conclusion of the trial the law should prosecute her as well for false accusations.
Kevin, I will be honest with you. After I saw the news I figured you were guilty. The story they did made you look like you were. Then just a few days ago I had an observer on my door step. I was a little unsure about the information that was being reported. Some of my questions were "If they had so much evidence why would they be pursuing this?" I started once again to follow KTVZ blogs. Everyone said what I was thinking "Doubt videos exist, US Observer is slanted truth and how can local media report such rubbish” Now after seeing the video all I can say is WOW. I'm also asking myself "What is the District Attorney’s office and local media doing?" It's Looks to be that the observer is reporting the truth. Our prayers go out to you and your family. The truth will come out in court as it clearly has here.
Angela, There is a perfectly logical explanation for why, Rossow did what she did. It was the “rape culture” O_O. You know because she can’t cheat on her husband without all those evil “patriarchy” worshiping men calling her a slut so she just has to claim she was raped. She clearly has very serious “mental issues.”
I mean “she was drunk…it was inside her…it kind of hurt…was it rape?” Of course it was rape! Forget the fact that it was illegal for her to even be drinking thanks to that slap on the wrist DUI punishment…she was probably too stressed from the last round of “slut shamming” that resulted in a previous false rape allegation and needed the calming relaxation alcohol can bring.
Just ask the author of this blog, she’ll tell you. The best way to stop atrocities like this isn’t to give long jail term sentences to false rape accusers oh no…we gotta ignore that and make some super law to stop all this name calling.
Once every man that calls a woman a slut or whore is put behind bars then the “rape culture” will be obliterated and false accusations will stop. Then we can focus on the rest of those evil rapist men taking advantage of women by forcing them to go to bars and get drunk and then using their psychic powers to make them believe they want to have sex when really, they don’t.
Yes the next step, which is the most important in stopping rape, is putting every intoxicated or sober man that has sex with an intoxicated woman IN…DA…SLAMMER. Shit why stop there? Let’s go ahead and throw those cat callers up in there too. You know what? Fuck it let’s just put any man any woman points at in jail. That will end all the world’s problems.
Whoa got carried away there with the sarcasm. On a serious note, posting that here is a genuinely thoughtful effort and it does help in a sense that every man or woman that comes here to refute the nonsense posted (myself not included because I’m not gonna waste my time) sees it and that adds a little more fuel to the fires of justice. Don’t be surprised though (and I’m sure you won’t be) if some “enlightened” feminist reads that article and gets another idea to further advocate for the protection of false accusers.
If you yourself are a feminist then I guess when I read your post I was starring through a black hole in my laptop screen to an alternate universe where feminists actually believe in equality and justice. Either way, Kevin has got someone else on his side…and his little dog too!

I want everyone to be aware that this type of thing happens more often then you think, thats very sad to say, in fact 40% of rape cases are false...WOW... now think about that for a minute..thats alot mens lives that have been ruined because of a woman saying three words "He Raped Me".
From that point on He is arrested, charged and looses everything..his job..home..friends and his standing in the community .. he is guilty until proven inocent as far as the law and Media are concerned.

The feminists’ faux concern with “slut shaming” may have its uses. Problem is, not here.
This moron didn’t want her boyfriend to find out what she’d voluntarily accomplished. She wasn’t afraid of slut-shaming, but of being found out to have breached an implicit or explicit undertaking of at least temporary fidelity. Or perhaps, minimally, no more than, say, two guys at a time.
Whatever the case was, she was afraid her boyfriend would be upset.

What a bunch of crap all these white feminists DA's throw at people just hoping some of it will stick. I was falsely accused of rape as well, and of course there was no evidence I raped her, but that didn’t stop two police offices from coming to my home and trying to intimidate me. It very much is an US VS THEM situation, and the biggest problem is not only do most women in this country not have a problem with false accusations, but most men don’t have a problem with them either. There is still this white knight syndrome that so many men still hold today, especailly when it comes to white women, that it is going to make it very hard for women to ever face serious time when they make false accusations.
The best plan is to move some place where not every aspect of life has been overtaken by feminist theory. In closing I feel the only reason this guy will might not face hard time is becasue he was “smart enough” to video tape the enounter. But then again its deschutes county and he still might be likely facing long prision sentences.

The whole story stinks. She should be held accountable if it is indeed a false accusation. Additionally, that is the worst piece of "investigative journalism" I have ever read. EVER. "Joseph Snook Investigative Reporter" should consider going to school to study journalism. He should also consider a new pen name. False claims not only harm real victims but they also harm the lives of the people that they accuse.
While I am sure that all of these women are wonderfull people, they also accused these men of committing a terrible crime and then watched while their names got dragged through the dirt in a way that will change thier lives forever.
While I am sure these women are precious little flowers, they need to grow up, take responsibility for what they did and not commit crimes.
Finally, what term would you use to describe a woman who cheated on her husband with her boyfriend and cheated on them both with the other 2 men. 4 men in total? Are we sure the writer just didn't lose count?
What about other problems in Bend such as the drug trend? There are many people dealing meth and they should be stopped. Melissa is probly one of those people that steal to use.
Your girl sounds like a garden variety psychopath. I was in Jackson county, and working rape crisis, when I was called out on a false rape claim. Happily the cops got right away that the physical evidence didn't support the charge, and they didn't pursue it. It was a horrible, terrifying experience, though, understanding how a woman can make this charge and how little evidence is sometimes employed. I never went out on a rape crisis call again. That was my first and only. The five guys that girl accused of gang raping her have no idea the debt of gratitude they owe the cops in Jackson County. She was white, as well, and they were Mexican. Had the cops had a racial axe to grind, had they ignored the physical evidence, I have no doubt there would be five young men who's lives were destroyed by that bitch, who, if memory serves was also Melissa.

Almost everybody in this country has a problem with false allegations of rape. Trust me. We do.
I am taken back by all these comments. Our family too has gone through a horror story with the local police in an incident that occurred with my son who now is serving a year in a detention facility. 911 tapes disappearing, harrassment, home serched, called a liar, treated as a criminal, anything to get a conviction. So sad and very scary, I hope people will unite, soo many young adults and adults suffering at the hands of the supposed "good guys". I have never known so much pain and suffering and the nightmare never seems to end. It doesnt end with the Police or Sheriff Dept, believe me. I always believed in our justice system until by "luck of the draw" we became involved in it, with our youngest of 6 boys. Our family devoted many years to our community volunteering for the good of children, coaching, PTA President, Little League Secretary, Concession Manager, Elks, Aide at our childrens classrooms, on and on. We are now considered the "black sheep" to the local police. I feel frightened to drive through the community I have lived in for 35 years. Never believe they are your friends, they only want what is in their best interest regardless of the facts. Unite Central Oregonians, clean out the crooked and bring in good inforcement.

I have posted your link onto Antimisandry.com and asked people to help with an email campaign to the DA and the local publications. Meanwhile, check out the False Rape Society’s website. They have lots of resources there for people who are falsely accused. Also there is an outfit called Accused Falsely that is a network of lawyers that specialize in false accusations. Tell Kevin that it will cost a lot of money but he is young and can recouparate. It seems to be late in the game now so time is not on Kevin’s side.
Thank you for your help in posting to Antimisandry. I checked it out, and it looks like a lot of people are e-mailing and putting pressure on those that clearly need the help to do the right thing. I appreciate your efforts and I will pass this info on to Kevin. You are right, time is not on his side... hopefully someone who can help will take notice soon.

Minumum Ten years for any woman shown to have made a false allegation of a sexual nature whether to her or children or anyone. Maybe all those in prison for such things should have all their cases looked at again if there was the slightest doubt in any of them.
10 years in prision will never make right the wrongs Melissa has caused Kevin. It should however, be a clear and certain warning to those women, who like her, are too immature to take responsibility for the choices they make. If Melissa doesnt want to be known as a whore or slut, she should quit sleeping around...if she would like to remain married, she should quit sleeping around...if she doesn't want her bf to find out she cheated, she shouldn't have slept with Kevin...if she was concerned she would loose her job after another no call no show, she shouldn't have stayed up until 4am drinking. These are all choices she has made, along with the choice she made to cry rape in order to escape the consequences of her selfish actions.

No we are all here watching and waiting for Kevins day in court, he will be found inocent and then the storm will hit, wouldnt want to be in Melissa's shoes.
I will say this is the worst thing that can happen to a man, its amazing how one girl can say three words (I was raped)and the world changes overnight for the accused. You will loose your job, friends, home and any money you had saved or will ever save.
I worry about the guys that have been falsly accused and have no funds to hire a attorney, they get appointed an court one which wants the case over quick so any and all offers are advised to be taken then they are wisked off to prison and the DA has another feather in her cap...Well Melissa and DA Jodi we are not a family that rolls over like you are use to handling ...We fight for whats right and Kevin is inocent and we will prove this in court.
